Specifically developed and designed for use on home trainers and rollers. Provides a much quieter ride and the special rubber compound minimises overheating, slippage and wear. Key Features: Max psi 100 (6.8 bar). Weight 395g (manufacturer claimed). Colour: Blue tread, black walls. Harder compound for increased service life. Much quieter than standard tyres. Cold running compound eliminates risk of tread separation. Not suitable for on-road use. What is best used for? The Tacx home trainer tyre is a robust reliable tyre for indoor training only, on either turbo trainer or rollers. Is it a clincher or tubeless tyre? It's a clincher tyre. Please note tyres including tubulars are covered for warranty against manufacturing defects only. Damaged caused by incorrect fitting, debris, solvents, UV damage and wear and tear are not covered. Tubular tyres should be checked for leaks prior to fitting as damage to the valve can occur during fitting, tubular tyres that have been fitted are not covered by warranty. Puncture protection increases the tyres protection against punctures compared to a similar weight of tyre without protection , while the likely hood of puncturing is reduced there is still a possibility of puncturing.
